dc.description.abstractThis work models the attenuation of the corrosion of carbon steel canisters due to the influence of diffusive transport through the corrosion product – a growing film of magnetite. The model makes use of an algorithm based on the analytical solution of 1D diffusion equations for the movement of Fe2+, H2, H2O and OH through this magnetite film.es_ES
